The My Site Host site collection is created from the SPSMSITEHOST#0 template. User profile pictures are stored in the My Site Host site collection. To have their user photo displayed on the suite navigation bar, users must be licensed for Exchange Online and with a photo uploaded to their Exchange mailbox.
